Antonio Rodriguez – Winemaker
After finishing his Enology and Marketing studies, Antonio’s life has been linked to the wine world. He gained experience in different wineries in Extremadura Castilla la Mancha and Rioja. During the first years, his work was mostly dedicated to the technical aspects and winemaking but later on he began to set his sight on global product design as well. Nowadays, he is not only concentrating on the wine-making itself, he works on everything that involves the final product until it is ready for the market. Antonio is the winemaker of Bodegas Martinez Saez, which is located in D.O. La Mancha.
Antonio Merino Arribas – Winemaker
The winemaking vocation of Antonio comes from the wine-growing tradition in the family Sánchez Contreras. Antonio, together with his wife Sandra, has started one of the first micro vinifications estates. After numerous tests they have achieved the results they wanted, which encouraged them to move from having wines in the “garage” to building their own winery. Today, 20 years after making their first wines, they have established a reputation of singularity by creating the D.O.P. Pago Casa del Blanco.
